ABOUT ME

I am excited you stopped by my page!  I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida and a certified Youth Mental Health First Aid Instructor.  My passion lies in the development of children, families, and the reintegration of positive and healthy lifestyles for families. I am a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. and Divine Nine Alliance. My husband serves as a Chief in the U.S. Navy, and together we have five daughters and a pit bull. I created my blog with the ultimate goal of promoting positive social change through a nonjudgement lens. My blogs will focus on military life, adversity, resiliency, trauma, parenting, relationships, self-love and anything that enhances your skills to become a better you. My goal is to connect with you on your journey as you live a more purposeful life.  But more importantly for you to connect with others as you grow emotionally and mentally.  Although my journey through life has been challenging, I am thankful for the process.  Because I can now appreciate the obstacles as I can purposefully be a blessing to others.

What a beautiful thing it is, to be able to stand tall and say, “I fell apart, and I survived.”

  1. What a beautiful smile, Dr. Trenye. And that blue dress becomes you, too. First, I want to thank you for your informative blog and inspiration you give to all those who stop by. Next, I want to thank you for taking the time to read and ‘like’ my blog on Conversations with God Using Scriptures. But what I find truly interesting is your blue logo. There has to be a reason for the heart shape, what looks like a heart muscle and anchor. The total design speaks to Freemasons. Does the inner anchor link the physical heart muscle to the desired outward sign of a spiritual love shaped heart connection? If those were your thoughts and intent, you are extremely ‘deep’ in your quest of mental telepathy and God centered perception.

    1. Thank you so much! The design actually represents the love between a therapist (me) and the (navy) my hubby. I did not see the design like your description until you mentioned that. Wow!! thanks for sharing that. God gives us a vision and sometimes we don’t understand, but I went with it. I drew (w a very limited createive side of me) the design out and shared it with a designer. Thank you so much for your kind words, and for visiting my page.

    1. Speaking of ‘God giving us a vision’, please read my blog entitled “God’s Perfect Gift of Understanding” on http://www.tgifmasterminds.com. In it you will see where God subliminally gave me 2 scriptures that bore out his word concerning the numerology number 5. At first I did not make the connection, but after seeking his face, God made it very clear. So Mother Fowler’s advice to you is to always seek God’s face. Be blessed, my child.

  2. No, I am not at all depressed. So no therapy in that area. If you become a fan of my blogs on tgifmasterminds.com you will see I am well rounded in the “Jesus Lifestyle” of problem solving. You know, turn the other cheek. So please stay tuned.

  3. This is beautiful! Tren, I’m so glad that you found my blog. Your purpose for your own blog is great. I particularly love this: “I created my blog with the ultimate goal of promoting positive social change through a nonjudgement lens.”

THAT illustrates the way that love can be a transformational agent of change.

    Blessings to you.
I’m going to follow your blog.
